Crews are hard at work at Peace Island Park to building forms and preparing the sand for the region's first sand sculpting event.  Watch the magic unfold as the professional artists start their work on Thursday, July 26.  The public is invited to watch the process from 9 am to 9 pm each day until the sculptures are completed on July 31st.  The picture shows the beginning of what will be a monumental sculpture by Russian artist, Ilya Filamontsev.
