A new champion! The North Peace Potters’ Guild announces the winner of the 2010 Chili Bowl Bash chili competition. The winning recipe was submitted by Team Jessica Harrison. Jessica (right) was acccompanied in kitchen by Valerie Martin (pictured left). The winning recipe was turkey based and contains lots of fresh roasted vegetables.

Thank you to all our wonderful participating chefs. Tim n Tyc’s also generously lent the Potters Guild use of their kitchen for the event. Some of the wonderful chilis, if not the winning recipe this time, were entries from Lori Ackerman (with Lisa Wildman), Melanie Chapple, Dillon Lazaroff and the defending champions from the 101.5, the Bear, (Christina and her team, including a new baby).

Proceeds from the event go towards the upkeep of the pottery studio in the Artspost building. The studio is maintained by the membership. Classes are offered to the community,  in 2 terms: September to December, and January to April.
