Join us December 10th, 6:00pm at 9834 100th Ave for the grand opening of Pop Up Gallery North and Peace Studio North!
With the generous support of the Northern Grand Hotel and the City of Fort St. John, Peace Gallery North is presenting a short-term pop-up gallery and artist studio to show off some of our community’s local up and coming artistic talent!
Pop Up Gallery North will feature a show curated by Samantha Wigglesworth from December 10th to 18th located at 9834 100th Ave. The show aims to challenge your idea of what the local art scene can be, and what a gallery space can look like. Samantha is joined by fellow artists, Liam Richards, Madi Cornet Cooper, Carolina Galdamez, and others.
Peace Studio North located at 9912 100th Ave, will feature Catherine Ruddell for the month of December. Catherine is a Communication Artist who was raised and currently lives in Fort St John on the ancestral lands of the Dane-zaa in Treaty 8 Territory. She is of Métis and European heritage, and with this studio art project she continues her journey of learning the Northern Michif language through painting and printmaking shared with her community.
Make sure you save the date, RSVP gallery@npcc.bc.ca , and join us for an evening of local art like you’ve never seen it before
