The Fort St. John Community Arts Council is studying the feasibility of developing a Creative Hub in Fort St. John. We want your input!
The Fort St. John Community Arts Council is excited to announce that we are moving forward with a feasibility study with the long term goal of developing a Creative Hub in Fort St. John. The Creative Hub is envisioned to be a long-term, sustainable facility in which artists, artisans, performers, musicians, and other creators can pursue their art and develop their skills.
The Arts Council has hired Expedition Management Consulting Ltd. (EMC), a leading culture, recreation, parks, and tourism planning firm, to assist with development of the study. The project is scheduled to be completed in December 2021.
We are seeking input from the arts and culture community to help us determine what spaces and amenities could be included in the facility, the attributes of a preferred locations for the facility, and identify potential revenue and partnership opportunities.
Please help with this process by completing the Creative Hub Survey by September 7, 2021. Paper copies of the survey are available on request.
Stakeholder information sessions will be held on August 26 and September 2 – more information to follow.
