North Peace Community Choir is made up of singers of all ages who meet on Tuesday evenings from September through May. We sing many styles of music, including classical, gospel and folk. In May of 2017, our concert featured Vivaldi’s “Gloria” along with orchestral works.
In preparation for a concert on November 18, this fall we will be preparing several Canadian songs, including the famous “Log Driver’s Waltz.” To celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, the North Peace Community Choir will be joining the Northern Lights Youth Choir and Fort St John Community Band at the Cultural Center for an evening of Canadian music.
If you love to sing, please consider joining us on September 12 for our first rehearsal this season. The fee is $80 for the semester. For more information, please contact Rhonda at 250 263 9189.
