Using a 4 shaft loom, each participant will design and complete two projects; one in cotton and one in wool. Participants will learn to calculate and wind their warp using a warping board, dress their loom, read weaving drafts and weave the given projects. Finishing techniques will be explored. Member Cost $200.00. Register by October 1

This class is designed for a beginner spinner. Participants will learn to spin and ply yarn on a spinning wheel. Class topics include: different types of wheels, how they work and how to care for them, characteristics of wool, different types of sheep & fleece, brief review of fibre preparation, demos of the difference between worsted and woollen spinning, and troubleshooting tips.
