Lesson #1 – Overview of Fiction—Understanding today’s fiction, genres analysis, tropes, and participant’s story ideas. Choose your dream and take the plunge.

Lesson #2 – Brainstorming Techniques & Plotting Tools—Choose the right ones for you. Develop your story idea into a solid plan.

Lesson #3 – Building Great Characters—Build characters readers love or love to hate. Populate your story with dynamic characters.

Lesson #4 – Building Your Story Road Map—The hows (events) and whys (motives). Setting yourself up for success.

Lesson #5 – Hook ’em on Page One—Checking under the hood before you start (Hook & Inciting Incident). Catch and keep your reader.

Lesson #6 – Basic Grammar Building Blocks—Mastering the rules for your story roadmap; your licence to write. Fill your writer’s toolbox.

Lesson #7 – Imagery, Depth, and Emotion—Pumping life into your words. Making your readers care.

Lesson #8 – Help, I’m Lost, and What to Do About it—Solutions to rescue your story. Setting your story up for success.

Lesson #9 – Tension, Suspense, Page-Turners and Cliff-Hangers—Techniques to up the stakes in your story. Always leave them wanting more.

Lesson #10 – The Redirect—What to Do When Your Character’s Take Over. Stay true to you plan and welcome inspiration.

Bonus – The course ends with a one-on-one personal consult with Ronnie and a first chapter or short story edit.
