FSJ Film Society: Fahrenheit 11/9

Join us Monday May 6 for ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’ at 7:00 pm at the Aurora Cinema Centre.Ticket sales will stop at 6:55 pm so our film loving volunteers can see the beginning of the movie.  Tickets are $13.00 each or you can purchase a flex pass good for 5 films for $55.00- cash only please! Flex passes are good for next seasons films as well.   Synopsis: Michael Moore’s political documentary uses humor and connect-the-dots investigative journalism to question the Bush administration’s motives for wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The film argues that President George W. Bush and his inner circle used the media to further an agenda that exploited the 9/11 attacks. The close ties of the Saudis to the Bush family, the cynical profiteering of corporations and a political elite beholden to special interests are all cited as elements of a corrupt system.
