Flower Pot Auction in the Park!

Written by

The Flower Pot Auction is on May 28th at Centennial Park.  Pots will be on view at noon and the auction starts at 1:00. Children can paint their own pot and get their face painted before the auction starts!

The Flower Pot Project is an arts project in Fort St. John that sees 50 new pots purchased by the city to be painted and put out on the streets. Older pots are taken off the street, touched up and sent to the auction. Every pot has been painted by a local artist; no two are the same. Proceeds are shared between the Fort St. John Arts Council, Northern Dance Theatre Society, the North Peace Potters Guild and Stage North.

This is a great fundraiser for the Arts Council, so encourage all of your friends to come down to the park and have a look at the flower pots.  There are some really beautiful pots on sale this year.
