The Arts Community played its part in the 2020 BC Winter Games held in Fort St. John from February 20-23. It was a wonderful event and it was an opportunity for the Arts and Sport to work side by side for the benefit of the community. As BC Game staff member, Andrew Pitre, said after the Opening Ceremony, “I reflect on the similarities and difference between the performing arts and sport performance. The arts has such a unique ability to be so much more inclusive, engage people, showcase dance/movement/music and just reach such a wider audience. Its amazing how a show like this really does bring people together. “
